SSC CGL recruitment board announces SSC CGL posts and candidates will have to enroll in SSC Combined Level Graduate exam. The aspiring candidates require undergoing all four stages of the exam including Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4.

Tier II: Tier II includes methodological knowledge of English Language and Quantitative Aptitude; this part is divided into three different sections and candidates will have to select any two among the given choices.
Tier III: Tier III requires the candidates to display their Writing skills in the English language. The descriptive mode requires the candidates to write an Essay or Letter on given matter. This section comprises of 100 marks and needs to be completed in 60 minutes duration.
Tier IV: The candidates who successfully complete Tier I, Tier II and Tier III are required to appear for Tier IV that comprises Personality Test and a face to face interview with the panel.

After qualifying SBI PO Prelims one can appear in the SBI PO Mains exam. It comprises of two levels:
Objective Exam will carry 200 marks and Descriptive Test will carry 50 marks. Both these tests will be held online. Candidates have to answer Descriptive test by typing on Computer.The descriptive test will be carried out after completing the objective test.

The descriptive test will be conducted for a maximum duration of 30 minutes carrying 50 marks. It is a written test of English Language where a candidate has to write Essay and Letters. Aspirants have to qualify Descriptive Test by scoring cut-off as decided by the bank authorities.
The candidates who will qualify for both the tests i.e. Objective and Descriptive will be called for Interview. The merit list will be arranged in descending order of the total marks scored by them. This list will be prepared category-wise with consequent cut-off decided thereon.
The number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The cut - off or qualifying marks in Group Exercises and Interview will be as per the decision made by the Bank examining authorities.
Candidates under 'OBC' category require submitting OBC Certificate containing the 'Non-Creamy layer' clause. It has to be submitted at the time of Group Exercise and Interview. In case anyone is not able to submit the same, they will not be interviewed in General Category.
