SBI CLERK 2021 Eligibility Criteria (Junior Associates)
The eligibility criteria of the SBI Clerk 2020 exam is:
Educational Qualification(As on 01.01.2020) for SBI CLERK 2021
Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the SBI exam is a graduation degree in any of the streams
such as BA, B.Com, BSc, B.Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. A
candidate who possesses the same qualification from the university recognized by the Central Government
is also eligible to apply for this exam. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should
ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2020.
Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the
condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the
graduation examination on or before 01.01.2021
Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree:
A certificate that supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam.
The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at the time of registration for the SBI Bank-Clerk examination.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as the SBI Clerk exam is conducted online.
Language Proficiency: Candidates should have verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT. The candidate should be able to read, write and speak the language.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:
Candidates applying for SBI Clerk Examination should be one of the following:

Citizen of India

The subject of Nepal or Bhutan

Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.
Age Eligibility(As on 01.01.2021) of candidates applying for SBI Clerk Examination:
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2020, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2000 (both days inclusive). Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

The selection process of SBI Clerk consists of 2 phases (preliminary and mains). The candidates must qualify each of them to go on to the next phase.
The important steps of the SBI Clerk Recruitment Procedure are as follows:

Online Preliminary Examination: The sufficient number of candidates in each category is shortlisted by SBI depending upon the requirements for Online Main Examination.

The SBI Clerk Mains is also held online, the latest update by SBI it has 4 sections there is 190 Question having a total score of 200 marks of 160 minutes duration.
The candidates must attempt the sections in the same order and within the allotted time fixed by the examining body. The candidate can’t leave the existing section before the time allotted. The next section can only be attempted after the current section is completed. There is a negative marking with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every mistake.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
A penalty for every incorrect answer will be marked in the Objective Tests of both Preliminary and Mains exams. Every wrong answer will be penalized by deducting 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank, i.e. in case, no answer is marked by the candidate.
Final Score Calculation for SBI Clerk 2021 Exam:
There are certain important points on the basis of which the final score for the SBI Clerk exam is calculated:

Marks scored in the Preliminary Exam will not be considered in the final score. These are only taken into account to qualify Mains Exam.

Candidates need to qualify Phase-2

The aggregate of 100 marks is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with high merit rank in each category are finally selected.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In the case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.

SBI has announced a total of 8000+ posts for Junior Associates where 3447 posts are for General Category.
The Nodal Banks/ Participating Organizations may organize pre-examination training for SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates at certain centres as per the strategy issued by the Government of India. This is a kind of training session where candidates are acquainted with the type of questions, common mistakes, and tips for time management, best practices, basic tricks and approaches by experts from training organizations. The purpose is to give a level playing field to students from weaker sections that can’t afford to coach and make them aware of the general facet and recruitment procedure of the exam.

After a long wait State bank of India has released an official notification for SBI Clerk 2020 Exam. Aspirants can apply for SBI Clerk 2021 online in January 2021. The last date of the online application would be February 2021. To make it convenient for those who are going to apply let us discuss the main steps to fill the online application form.
The process to apply for SBI Clerk 2021 Online

Step 1: Visit the home page of the SBI Clerk online registration form and click on the NEW REGISTRATION button at the top right of the page and start filling the form for the SBI Clerk 2021 Exam.

Step 2: Enter the required fields such as name, contact number, email id., residential address, etc. then press the save button and move to the next step.

Step 3: Candidates have to upload their photograph and signature in the given format provided by SBI. The size of the photograph should be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm. The photograph should have a white background in passport size. Photograph and signature should be clear and sharp. The size of the photograph should not be more than 50 KB and less than 20 KB and signature should have a minimum size of 10 KB and a maximum of 20 KB.

Step 4: Enter your academic details and professional qualification after uploading photographs and signatures. Then save and click on the Next button.

Step 5: Now preview your application for the last time as the changes will not be allowed after you save your application form.
