Steps To Apply for the SSC CHSL 2026
Step 1. Visit the Website:
Visit the official SSC Application Portal or the official mySSC mobile app.
Step 2. One-Time Registration (OTR):
For new applicants, you need to perform one-time registration by Aadhaar Authentication along with some other personal information like mobile number and email ID to obtain the registration number and password.
Step 3. Login:
You have to log in using your registered credentials and go to the 'Apply' link for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2026.
Step 4. Fill in the Details:
Check the automatically filled-in profile data and fill in the details about your educational qualifications, category, and preferred posts.
Step 5. Select Examination Centres:
Choose three examination centres from your preferred regions.
Step 6. Capture Live Photo and Signature:
Take your photo using your webcam along with uploading a scanned signature in JPEG file format between 10-20 KB.
Step 7. Pay Application Fee:
Pay the application fee of Rs.100 (waived for women, SC/ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen candidates) by October 8, 2026.
Step 8. Submit and Print:
Review all your details once again and submit your application, taking a printout of it.
