Steps To Apply for SSC JE 2026
Step 1: Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process at ssc.gov.in (OTR done from the old portal of ssc.nic.in will not be accepted at ssc.gov.in).
Step 2: Log in and complete the SSC JE 2026 online application process through the SSC official website or the mySSC mobile app.
Step 3: Those who are going to apply using the Aadhaar-based authentication process will not be required to submit photo/signature of prescribed standards separately and will not need photo identity proof at the exam center.
Step 4: Those who will not be applying through the Aadhaar-based process will need to take a live photograph in the application module and submit a scanned copy of the signature (JPEG, size: 10-20 KB, approx 6 cm x 2 cm).
Step 5: Choose organization/post and technical subject (Part-A to Part-G) according to your academic qualifications – this choice cannot be altered at any later stage.
Step 6: Submit application form with payment of application fee if required before September 22, 2026 (23:00 hrs).
Step 7: Correct any mistakes made during filling out the application using the Application Correction window (September 28 to 30, 2026) – this correction is charged (first time - Rs. 200, second time – Rs. 500).
