What is a special recruitment drive in SBI Clerk?

The State Bank of India has announced a special recruitment drive for posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in regions of Kashmir Valley, Leh Kargil Valley, Dwang, Tura and Mokokchung. There are a total of 85 vacancies allotted to special recruitment drives in SBI Clerk 2021. Each candidate can apply for only one district. Those who want to apply in Kashmir or Leh region need to have a good hand over Urdu or Dogri language. If candidates choose the Tura region, then they need to be proficient in Garo language. For Mokokchung, candidates need to know the AO(Naga) language.  

Academic qualifications for the post of Junior Associates is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Remember that if you apply for the special requirement drive, then you’ll be posted to areas mentioned above.

The date of SBI Clerk prelims has been postponed due to the spread of coronavirus. It is predicted to be conducted in the month of July or August.
