Descriptive Test:

It is a subjective test to evaluate the language ability of the aspirants. It is of 25 marks with duration of 30 minutes Aspirants will be given questions on letter writing and Essay.

Note –

  • Please make a note that the marks obtained by the aspirants in the Main examination will enable to short-list him or her for the third phase i.e Interview and finally to qualify in the merit list.

Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL Tier-II

SSC CHSL Tier-II is held in a descriptive mode where a individual is given a test analyze his or her writing skills in English/Hindi. The paper includes an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/Application writing of about 150-200 words. The minimum marks to qualify SSC CHSL TIER II are 33 percent of the total marks allotted. Syllabus of SSC CHSL Tier II

SSC CHSL Tier II consists of a descriptive test where aspirants are given questions to write an essay and Letter/Application to analyze the writing skills of the candidates. The essay topics which are typically asked to write are National Interest, Finance & Economy, Ecological Issues, Politics, Social Issues, Schemes & Governance, Sports, Technology, Geopolitics, Environmental Concerns etc. While, the type of letter/ application asked will be Application, Complaint, Suggestion, Official Appreciation, Follow up or Feedback etc.

SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus

Tier-III of SSC CHSL consists of Skill/ Typing Test which is a qualifying test. The final position of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of total score obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator:

In this test, a candidate must possess a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.

Recruitment of SSC Constable (GD) 2018

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern

SBI PO Mains exam has 2 levels:

  1. Objective Exam
  2. Descriptive Exam

Objective Exam comprises of 200 marks and Descriptive Test consists of 50 marks. Both these tests are conducted online. Candidates have to answer Descriptive test by typing on Computer. Descriptive test will be held after taking the objective test.

  1. Objective Test: The objective test will be of maximum time duration of 3 hours with 4 Sections with the maximum score of 200 marks. The objective test will observe sectional timings. In order to qualify the exam, aspirants need to score cut-off marks as decided by the Bank examining body.

  1. Descriptive Test: 

The descriptive test will be held with maximum time duration of 30 minutes carrying 50 marks. It is a written test of English Language where aspirants are asked to write an Essay and a Letter. Aspirants should qualify Descriptive Test by scoring cut-off as decided by the bank examining body.

SBI PO Interview

The candidates who will succeed in both the tests i.e. Objective and Descriptive, merit list will be arranged in downward order of their summative marks. This list will be prepared category-wise with consequent cut-off as decided.

The sufficient number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The cut-off of the same will be determined by the Bank authorities.

Aspirants who belong to 'OBC' category must present OBC Certificate with the 'Non Creamy layer' clause at the time of Group Exercise and Interview. In case they are not in a position to present the same they will not be interviewed in General Category.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – The aspirants who will be shortlisted from the online examination will be eligible to appear in language proficiency test (LPT).
