SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern

SBI PO Mains exam has 2 stages:

  1. Objective Exam
  2. Descriptive Exam

 Objective Exam is set with a maximum marks as 200 and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both these tests are held online. Candidates have to answer Descriptive test by typing on Computer. Descriptive test will be conducted after attempting the objective test.

  1. Objective Test:The objective test will conducted with maximum time duration of 3 hours with 4 Sections. It will have maximum score of 200 marks. The objective test adopts sectional timings. In order to qualify the exam, aspirants are required to score cut-off marks as determined by the Bank examining body.

  1. Descriptive Test: 

The descriptive test will have maximum time duration of 30 minutes of 50 marks. It is a written test of English Language where aspirants are given questions to write an Essay and a Letter. Aspirants should make it in the Descriptive Test by scoring cut-off as resolute by the bank examining body.

SBI PO Interview

The candidates who will be victorious in both the tests i.e. Objective and Descriptive, merit list will be given in downward order of their increasing marks. This list will be prepared category-wise with significant cut-off as resolute.

The ample number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The cut-off of the same will be resolute by the Bank organization.

Candidates who belong to 'OBC' category must verify it by showing the OBC Certificate with the 'Non Creamy layer' clause at the time of Group Exercise and Interview. In case they are not able to present the same they will not be interviewed in General Category.

Exam Pattern of SBI Clerk 2019

SBI Clerk Exam comprises of two phases in its examination process such as Phase I and Phase II.

Phase I Exam is a preliminary examination which will be conducted online with 3 sections of one hour duration. The total marks set for the test will be 100. Descriptive Test:

It is a subjective examination to appraise the language competence of the aspirants. It comprises of 25 marks with duration of 30 minutes Aspirants will be given questions on letter writing and Essay.

Note –

Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL Tier-II

SSC CHSL Tier-II is held at descriptive mode where candidate is given an examination to verify his or her writing skills in English/Hindi. Syllabus of SSC CHSL Tier II

SSC CHSL Tier II consists of descriptive test where aspirants are given questions to write down an essay and Letter/Application to examine the writing skills of the candidates. The essay topics which are typically asked to write are National Interest, Finance & Economy, Ecological Issues, Politics, Social Issues, Schemes & Governance, Sports, Technology, Geopolitics, Environmental Concerns etc. While, the type of letter/ application asked will be Application, Complaint, Suggestion, Official Appreciation, Follow up or Feedback etc.

SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus

Tier-III of SSC CHSL contains Skill/ Typing Test which is a qualifying test. The final location of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of total score obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator:

In this test, an applicant must have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.
