Candidates who are qualified for the IBPS PO 2018 exam can register themselves online to take part in the recruitment process of IBPS PO EXAM 2018. It is a three tier exam with Prelims and Mains phases which are held online and Interview is taken in the due course after the Mains result. The SBI PO preliminary examination will be conducted online having a duration of one hour. It will have three sections with 100 questions in total with a maximum score of 100 marks.
SBI PO Prelim Exam will follow negative marking where a penalty of 0.25 marks given for every wrong answer. Aspirants have to qualify the sectional cut-off limit to ace the exam and reach the next level or phase i.e SBI PO Main Exam.

After qualifying SBI PO Prelims one can appear in the SBI PO Mains exam. It comprises of two levels:
Objective Exam will carry 200 marks and Descriptive Test will carry 50 marks. Both these tests will be held online. Candidates have to answer Descriptive test by typing on Computer.The descriptive test will be carried out after completing the objective test.

The descriptive test will be conducted for a maximum duration of 30 minutes carrying 50 marks. It is a written test of English Language where a candidate has to write Essay and Letters. Aspirants have to qualify Descriptive Test by scoring cut-off as decided by the bank authorities.
The candidates who will qualify for both the tests i.e. Objective and Descriptive will be called for Interview. The merit list will be arranged in descending order of the total marks scored by them. This list will be prepared category-wise with consequent cut-off decided thereon.
The number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The cut - off or qualifying marks in Group Exercises and Interview will be as per the decision made by the Bank examining authorities.
Candidates under 'OBC' category require submitting OBC Certificate containing the 'Non-Creamy layer' clause. It has to be submitted at the time of Group Exercise and Interview. In case anyone is not able to submit the same, they will not be interviewed in General Category.

Tier 1: This tier has 100 questions of 2 marks each with maximum marks as 200. Tier II: This tier scrutinizes the logical awareness of Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. It has three papers in this tier, but only two are essential depending on the post they have applied for.
Tier 111: The test in this tier will be conducted in pen and paper mode. Aspirants have to test their writing skill in the English Language as the questions will be asked in the descriptive mode i.e to write either an essay/précis/letter etc. The total time allowed for this s paper will be 60 minutes and will carry 100 marks.
Last Step – The candidate who qualifies tier 1, II and III will be called for an interview and the Personality Test. There will be a skill test which is known as Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) (wherever apply)
